Coastal Lycian Way 5 Days

Distance: 9 km / 5,5 miles

After a delicious breakfast in the morning, you will take a short 15-minute transfer to Alınca. Your walk will begin with a downhill path offering a sea view, and you will then proceed towards Ge Village. You can take breaks at resting points along the way.

	If you have the time and energy, you can head to Yediburunlar and capture some amazing photographs.
	Upon reaching Ge Village, you can visit the ancient city of Sydima to explore its ruins. The acropolis of Sidyma is located on a two-part hill to the north of the Dodurga neighborhood. The acropolis is surrounded by walls 365 meters long and rising up to 3 meters, depending on the terrain, on the southeast side of the hill. A polygonal-shaped gate and a watchtower are notable on the eastern side.

	We also recommend tasting the local specialties, such as gözleme, prepared by the locals over a wood fire along the Lycian Way. Afterward, we will return to your accommodation, where a delicious dinner will be waiting for you.

After breakfast, a short 15-minute shuttle will take you to Ge Village. This route offers a delightful coastal hike along a slope parallel to the sea, with plenty of opportunities for photography. As you ascend from Ge Village to Belceğiz Hill, the trail will begin to descend toward sea level.

	When you spot the Lycian Way sign, your direction will point toward Gavurağılı. The image on the side shows Kate Clow while marking the trail signs together.
	GE Village boasts a rich history dating back to the Lycian period. In ancient times, it served as a settlement within the Lycian League. As you walk from Ge Village toward Belceğiz, every step will reward you with breathtaking vistas.
	From Belceğiz to Gavurağılı, the blue of the sea and the green of nature merge to create a stunning panorama.
	After completing the hike, you’ll have the chance to swim in the cool waters of Gavurağılı. Later, a shuttle will transfer you back to your accommodation at your preferred time, where a delicious dinner awaits.

Distance: 16 km / 10 miles

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Lycian Way starting from Delikkemer. Passing through olive groves and pine forests, the path will descend to sea level and eventually reach both the beach and the ancient city of Patara.

	One of the engineering marvels of the Roman period, the aqueduct built to supply water to the ancient city of Patara, showcases the region’s historical heritage. This walk will take you to the shores of Patara.
	The ancient city of Patara, located on the Lycian Way, was built in the 2nd century BC as one of the capitals of the Lycian Union. Patara illuminates history with its massive Roman structures. The ancient theater, Temple of Letoon, and rock tombs reveal the historical richness of the region. The image on the side is from Letoon, featuring Ayşegül and guests.
	After completing your walk, you will have the opportunity to swim in the cool waters of Gavurağılı. Then, we will return to your accommodation, where a delicious dinner will be waiting for you.
