What a wonderful trip! Lycian Way was wonderful, the guides were also great, and the group of travelers were all so very nice! So many surprises, the places where we stayed were incredible, and the food was very good! Visiting Turkey brought back the realization of that culture’s historical importance as colonizers of so many places around the world in the days of the conquistadors. Such a rich heritage!
We have been on many LW trips, and this was one of the best.The lodging, meals and walks were excellent, and genuinely reflected the spirit and history of the Turkish Highlands. Our guides were fantastic, with each contributing their unique skills and observations to the group. They were very knowledgable, very good communicators, and very efficient. There was little time wasted on this trip. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week.
I had a lot of fun on our trip. There were some points that were stronger, and some weaker, than others but, overall, a great time.
While the trail markings were occasionally confusing, the breathtaking scenery and cultural immersion made it an unforgettable experience.
This trip was extremely well organized and I never worried about my bag making it to the next destination. So loved walking through the charming Turkey countryside. The accommodations were extremely clean and friendly. I saw one small change to the latest trip online which shows a stay in Fethiye and I think that is a great change.
Walking the Lycian Way was an amazing experience. Despite some navigation difficulties, the beauty of the trail and encounters with locals made it a memorable adventure. Definitely worth it. Five stars.
I wish I could rate more stars! This was our first Lycian Walk tour and my cousin and I had the best time ever. Our guides were amazing and provided a lot of history as well as geological information on the beautiful country of Turkey.
Lycian Way exceeded all our expectations. As seasoned hikers, we've trekked various trails around the world, but none quite like this. The rugged terrain challenged us in the best possible way, offering a true sense of accomplishment with each step.
This trip was everything I had hoped for. The views and walks through the countryside was everything I was looking for. The walk up the Lycian Way was spectacular.
I recently completed the Lycian Walk and was blown away by the beauty of the Turkish landscape. From the rugged coastline to the lush forests, every step of the journey offered something new and exciting.

Accommodations varied but were generally comfortable, ranging from simple guesthouses to charming boutique hotels. Each night brought a new sense of anticipation for the adventures that lay ahead.
The hospitality of the locals was exceptional, with warm smiles and genuine kindness greeting us at every turn. Whether indulging in delicious local cuisine at charming eateries or resting our weary legs in cozy accommodations, every moment was filled with warmth and hospitality.
My wife and I each separately had small slips on the trail, but both times the guides ensured our well-being before continuing – outside of hurt pride, we were fine.
Though both of us really spent a lot of time preparing for the tour by hiking regularly, I think I would have been helped by a little leg strength training, but otherwise the hiking was fairly easy, even with (optional) multiple hikes during a single day. The guides always provided options for those that chose not to do a particular hike or a shorter one.
I recommend this tour and would happily take another LW tour.
So much fun. Six lovely days of hiking (I wouldn’t characterize it as “walking”), fabulous guides, great food, and nice accommodations.
This walking vacation was beyond my highest expectations. It will be very hard to top this experience in the future. The walks, mountain views, places to stay, food - all amazing Even the weather cooperated! The people on this trip were also terrific companions; we bonded swiftly. A perfect walking vacation.

This was a trip of a lifetime. We loved all of the small towns we visited and each of the walks. The hotels were great and the food was delicious.

The premium accommodations, logistics and transfers, and trail maps were fantastic, I was able to focus on the journey instead of details and planning.
The tour was great. The walks took us through different areas of the highlands where the scenery was beautiful, the sharing of Turkey’s history was enjoyed and the walks were very enjoyable.
We were grateful to enjoy unusually warm and sunny weather on this tour so we truly saw Turkey at its best. Days were well planned to allowed hikes at a comfortable pace. Each day the hikes were through a different terrain and area making each one unique.
The entire experience was extremely good. Lycian Walk did a good job of organizing the trip and arranging accommodations. The scenery was breathtaking. The hike was extremely enjoyable even in the rain. Just need full rain gear and waterproof boots with good traction.
