There are two separate routes on this path. One continues via the ancient city of Siydma, while the other progresses through Ge Village. Our preference is the route through Ge Village. Walking with a sea view will be delightful. For those who wish, you can alter this route and opt for Siydma, continuing your journey through the forest.

This incredible hike from Alınca through Boğaziçi to Yediburunlar is a journey where nature and history merge. Breathtaking views awaiting you at every step will make the challenging paths well worth it. You will lose yourself among the beauty of where the sea and forest meet, feeling as if you are journeying through another world.

In ancient times, Yediburunlar (Sacred Cape) was known as Hiera Akra. It consists of the capes Yediburun Başı, Kötü, Sancak İnkaklık, Yassı, Kılıç, and Zeytin. These capes rise toward the land, turning into mountains, while the pristine coves between them are like pieces of paradise. Yediburunlar, an essential part of the ancient Lycian Way, was a passage used by the Lycians for centuries. We will be waiting for you at Yediburunlar.

After completing the route, a transfer is arranged to the guesthouse for the overnight stay. Traditional Turkish dishes are served, and a special menu can be arranged upon request.

This route will be quite enjoyable along the hillside parallel to the sea. You will have plenty of opportunities for photography. From Ge Village, as you reach the summit of Belceğiz, you will begin to descend in a zigzag pattern towards sea level. After the Lycian Way sign, the Mediterranean will unfold beneath your feet.

During the descent toward Gavurağılı, trekking poles are required. When the sign shown in the image is encountered, the direction follows toward Gavurağı

As you proceed from Ge Village towards Belceğiz, you will encounter breathtaking landscapes that will mesmerize you with every step. From Belceğiz to Gavurağili, the combination of the blue sea and green nature will present you with a dazzling panorama.

After a moderately challenging hike, a pickup is arranged from Gavurağılı, followed by a return to the guesthouse, where a freshly prepared meal is served.

One of the most favored routes begins with an easy walk through forested terrain. The path follows a gentle, rolling profile, descending from approximately 400 meters to sea level with small hills along the way. The first site encountered is the ancient city of Letoon. This section is completed in approximately three hours of relaxed walking.

Alternatively, the walk may begin at Letoon. Founded in the 4th century BC, Letoon was the religious center of Lycia and is renowned for its temples dedicated to the deities Leto, Apollo, and Artemis.

After departing from Letoon, the walk continues toward Xanthos. This section takes approximately two hours to complete. Xanthos, the capital of ancient Lycia, is a remarkable archaeological site with a history dating back to the second millennium BC.

With its mosaic-covered floors, the site once served as the capital of ancient Lycia and is included on UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage List. After the visit, a transfer is arranged to the accommodation. The image shown was taken at Xanthos.

After breakfast, memory books are provided for participants to share their reflections on the experience. Following this, a transfer is arranged to Dalaman Airport, with an approximate journey time of two hours.
