West Lycian Way One Week
WHERE NATURE AND HISTORY UNITE
The Lycian Way between Fethiye and Patara is an ancient route with a deep-rooted history dating back to the 5th century BC. This route, one of the most important transportation paths of the Lycian Civilization, was used by both the local people and traders in ancient times. The Lycian people used this road not only for transportation but also as a religious and cultural bond. For example, the ancient city of Patara, one of the important cities of the Lycian League, has historical depth with temples and ruins built here. While walking along this route, you will carry ancient history to the present day and, by following the traces of old caravans, you will be stepping into a life from thousands of years ago. With every step, you will touch the lives of civilizations that once passed through here and embark on this journey that began 2500 years ago. The Lycian Way will not only take you beyond stones and ruins but will also lead you deep into the past, allowing you to relive the traces of that era.
THE LYCIAN WAY COMES TO LIFE WITH YOUR STEPS…
Tour Plan
You arrive at Dalaman Airport and make your way to Kayaköy. Once a thriving community where trade and agriculture flourished, Kayaköy today stands out with its historical character and natural beauty, offering a captivating glimpse into the past.
