This is a challenging hiking tour that requires a good level of fitness. You will be hiking for several hours each day on varied terrain. The tour includes a mix of coastal and inland routes, with some ascents and descents.
This 14-day program takes you on an unforgettable hike on the most beautiful trails of the Lycian Way. Extending from Fethiye to Kaş, this route offers a wide variety of landscapes, from ancient cities to natural beauties, from the coasts of the Mediterranean to the foothills of the Taurus Mountains.
Guests are met at Dalaman Airport according to arrival time and transferred on an approximately one-hour journey to a carefully selected hotel in Fethiye / Kayaköy. After check-in, free time is available.

Kayaköy is a captivating settlement with its historical texture and natural beauty. One of the must-see highlights here is the Ghost Town. In the 1920s, a large Greek population lived here, but the village was abandoned following the population exchange in 1923. You can visit Levissi by passing in front of the Kayaköy Mosque (now known as the Ghost Town).

While tracing the footsteps of history, a visit to Afkule Monastery can offer you a mystical atmosphere. You can rent a bike to explore the surroundings. Accompanied by Kayaköy’s unique landscapes, you might opt for a 3-hour walk from Kayaköy to Fethiye city center, giving you the chance to explore Fethiye’s nature and culture along the way. You can also enjoy swimming at Cold Water Bay.

Overnight accommodation is in Kayaköy.

The first 5 km of this trail will be accompanied by breathtaking views. The climb starts at 300 meters and reaches up to 800 meters.

This enchanting walk from Kayaköy to Faralya will introduce you to unforgettable landscapes. As you set off, you’ll witness the stunning beauty of the sea’s blue hues blending with the green texture of the forests. The sight of paragliders gracefully soaring in the sky will feel like a natural part of this scenery.

During the walk, you’ll also follow traces of the ancient Lycian Way, a route once used by the Lycians and renowned for its mesmerizing surroundings. The overnight stay will be in Faralya.

Walking Duration: 6-7 hours
Distance: 16 km / 10 miles
The distance between Faralya and Kabak is approximately 7 kilometers, and the water you bring should suffice for this stretch. In Kabak, you’ll find a few markets, and there’s also, a water source midway. The walking distance from Kabak to Alınca is 9 km (make sure you have enough water with you). Upon reaching Alınca, the view from the summit will leave you in awe.

After breakfast, we depart from Faralya and begin the walk toward Alınca via Kabak. Faralya and Kabak Beach are renowned areas along Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, famous for their natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. Kabak Beach, with its pristine charm, crystal-clear waters, and peaceful setting, is an ideal spot for relaxation and swimming.

The ancient Lycians established settlements in this region, surrounded by mountains, valleys, roads, and villages, engaging in agriculture and maritime activities. Kabak Beach was once a transit point used by monks and traders along the Lycian Way.

Overnight accommodation is in Alınca, at a scenic location. Alternative accommodations are available upon request.

Walking Duration: 6 hours
Distance: 9 km / 5,5 miles
After breakfast in Alınca, the Lycian Way continues, leading you through forested areas. Don’t forget to use your trekking poles on the descent from Alınca. This path will take you through ancient trails to Ge Village. This route, about 9 kilometers long, requires a moderate-to-challenging walk.

This incredible journey from Alınca to Yediburunlar via Boğaziçi blends nature and history. You’ll feel lost in the beauty where the sea meets the forest, as if traveling through another world.

Known in ancient times as Hiera Akra (Sacred Cape), Yediburunlar consists of seven capes: Yediburun Başı, Kötü, Sancak İnkaklık, Yassı, Kılıç, and Zeytin. An important part of the ancient Lycian Way, Yediburunlar served as a passage used by the Lycians for centuries.

After completing your daily walk at Yediburunlar, we’ll transfer you to our lodge with a swimming pool nestled in the forest for your overnight stay. Here, you can savour delicious traditional Turkish dishes. We recommend trying the Güveç (stew) for those staying here.

Walking Duration: 6-7 hours
Distance: 15 km / 9 miles
After breakfast, we’ll take you on a short 15-minute transfer to Ge Village.

With a rich history dating back to the Lycian period, Ge Village was once a settlement tied to the Lycian League in ancient times. As you proceed from Ge Village toward Belcegiz, you’ll encounter breathtaking sea views at every step.

On the route from Belceğiz to Gavurağılı, the walk reveals sweeping panoramas where deep blue sea tones blend with lush green landscapes. After a moderately challenging walk, a pickup is arranged from Gavurağılı, followed by a return to the lodge, where a freshly prepared meal is served.

Walking Duration: 4-5 hours
Distance: 16 km / 10 miles
After breakfast, a short transfer leads to the continuation point of the Lycian Way at Delikkemer. Delikkemer stands as an example of Roman-era water engineering, constructed to supply water to the ancient city of Patara.

Constructed in the 2nd century BC, this aqueduct features massive interlocking stone blocks hollowed out in the center, showcasing Roman engineering as a masterpiece of engineering.

This walk will lead you to the shores of Patara. Located along the Lycian Way, Patara Ancient City was one of the capitals of the Lycian League in the 2nd century BC.

You’ll see Roman-era structures, including an ancient theatre, the Temple of Leta, and rock tombs, all of which highlight the region’s historical richness.

Overnight accommodation is in Patara, surrounded by palm trees and oleanders.

Walking Duration: 7-8 hours
Distance: 14 km / 9 miles
After breakfast, a transfer is arranged from Patara to the starting point of the walk in Kaş.

From Kaş, you can walk along the Lycian Way, following the coastline, passing through Limanağzı, and continue to Sisla. Historically, Kaş was an important Lycian settlement known as “Antiphellos” in ancient times. Part of the Lycian League, Kaş became a significant center from the 4th century BC onward.

Alternatively, you can take a short boat trip from Kaş to Limanağzı and continue your walk from there, reaching your destination 1.5 hours earlier.

Tonight, you’ll stay in a special room we’ve selected for you in Sisla.

Walking Duration: 7 hours
Distance: 15 km / 9 miles
After breakfast, the walk continues along the Lycian Way from Sisla toward Aperlae (Aperlai). Known in the Luwian language as “Aprillai,” meaning “River Gorge,” Aperlae was a small Lycian port city. This section of the route takes approximately seven hours to complete.

Afterward, a short boat transfer leads to Üçağız. For those who prefer to continue on foot from Aperlae to Üçağız, the walk adds approximately three hours to the route.

Üçağız (Kekova) is a popular holiday destination these days, drawing much of its charm from surrounding historical ruins, olive groves, and fishermen’s houses.

Overnight accommodation is in Üçağız, at a seaside guesthouse.

Kekova Island, with its stunning nature and history, captivates visitors. Known as Dolichiste in the Lycian language, this island boasts historical ruins dating back to the 4th century BC.

Üçağız (Kekova) is a wonderful seaside town where you can spend time at beachside restaurants or swim in the sea.

You can also join a boat tour to explore the sunken city. Kekova, once a Lycian trade hub, saw some of its ruins submerged after major earthquakes, enhancing its beauty even further.

Kayaking or diving opportunities are available in Kekova. Nearby ancient cities like Aperlae at Sıcak İskelesi, Theimussa in Üçağız, Simena in Kaleköy, the Sunken City, and Istlada in Gökkaya Bay reflect the region’s historical richness, and you can visit them.

Renting a canoe allows you to see Lycian tombs and the sunken city from the water’s surface. This unique place is a paradise for exploration enthusiasts. We will stay here for the night again.

Walking Duration: 8-9 hours
Distance: 24 km / 15 miles
After a day of rest, the Lycian Way walk resumes. Following breakfast, a transfer leads to Karaöz, where the route continues along the Lycian Way toward Adrasan. Karaöz is a tranquil village surrounded by lush greenery, offering a calm and restorative setting.

The Gelidonya Lighthouse, named after Kaledonya (meaning “swallow” in Lycian), stands at 227 meters, making it the highest lighthouse on Turkey’s coast. You can take unforgettable photos from the spot shown in the picture.

Karaöz (Menalippe Beach), along our route, is another site of natural beauty and historical significance.

Upon arrival in Adrasan, accommodation is arranged at a boutique hotel on the Adrasan coast, reflecting the warm colors and atmosphere of the Mediterranean.

Walking Duration: 8 hours
Distance: 17 km / 10,5 miles
The Adrasan-Çıralı Lycian Way is a challenging trail. As you’ll be walking through a forest, there won’t be opportunities to find water along the way, so bring enough for an 8-hour walk.

Before leaving Adrasan, you can swim in the sea. Those who wish can have breakfast at restaurants along the Adrasan River before continuing to the Çıralı Lycian Way. The atmosphere here is worth experiencing.

The Adrasan-Çıralı Lycian Way is a tough route. Upon reaching the summit, you’ll encounter a grand valley view. The picture next to this was taken from that vantage point.

It’s an ideal spot for a break and photos. From this peak, you’ll descend toward the ancient city of Olympos and arrive in Çıralı. If desired, after dinner, you can visit Yanartaş (Chimaera) to see the natural flames caused by constantly burning gases, either at sunset or afterward.

Before arrival in Çıralı, luggage transfer is arranged. Overnight accommodation is in Çıralı.

Walking Duration: 8 hours
Distance: 25 km / 15,5 miles
Right after breakfast, we’ll depart from Çıralı and continue along the Lycian Way to Tekirova. This route mostly follows the coastline, offering plenty of opportunities for scenic photos.

After passing the turquoise waters of Kıral Bay and pine forests, your next stop will be Maden Bay, where you can take a break. This bay stands out not only for its natural beauty but also for its historical and archaeological significance.

Overnight accommodation is in Tekirova, marking the completion of this section of the Lycian Way. If the day’s walk is completed early, a visit to the ancient city of Phaselis, located approximately 5 km away, is recommended.

Phaselis is a historic city located in both the Lycian and Pamphylian regions. In the 5th century BC, it was under Persian rule, and in the 4th century BC, it was governed by the Carian Satrap Mausolos and Lycian King Pericles. In 333 BC, it welcomed Alexander the Great with a crown, a significant event in its history. Phaselis joined the Lycian League in 167 BC, minting league coins, and became part of the Roman Empire in 43 BC.

Before the airport transfer on the following day, the final day of the program is spent in Antalya. After breakfast, travel continues from Tekirova to the hotel in Antalya, a scenic coastal journey of approximately 1.5 hours.
During the Hellenistic period, Attalus II (159–138 BC) is said to have instructed his soldiers to “find paradise on earth.” Impressed by the location they presented, he recognized its strategic value and founded a port city there, naming it Ataleia after himself.

“Ataleia” means “Land of Attalus.” Antalya truly is one of the paradise-like regions on earth, as Attalus described.

One of the city’s most famous structures, Hadrian’s Gate, is a symbol of Kaleiçi, Antalya’s old town, where you can explore narrow streets, historic buildings, and shop. Düden Waterfall, another natural beauty, is very close to the city center.

The Antalya Museum offers a rich collection for those eager to explore the region’s history. Additionally, Termessos Ancient City, perched atop a mountain, may captivate you with its impressive views and historical ruins. Since it’s free time, we’ll leave dinner up to you.

For those wanting to extend their day in Antalya, you can visit Manavgat or Düden Waterfalls.

Overnight accommodation is in Kaleiçi.
After breakfast, transfer to Antalya Airport (9 km) is provided.
